Agreement

By downloading or using Pastely, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to both the Free and Pro versions of Pastely.

What Pastely is

Pastely is a macOS utility. You copy something, press the transform hotkey, and Pastely works out what the app you are pasting into needs and produces it. To do that it reads your clipboard and takes a screenshot of the window you are pasting into, and sends both to a third-party AI provider. You can also type an instruction into the field you are pasting into and Pastely will follow it, but that is optional. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is sent and what is kept.

Your account

• You must sign in with a Google account to use Pastely. Transforms do not run while signed out.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Pastely.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts.

Free plan

The Free plan gives you 4 transforms at no cost, with no credit card required. It is a one-time trial for the life of the account, not a monthly allowance: it does not reset. Free plan limits may change over time, and we will not retroactively remove transforms you have already used.

Pro plan and billing

• Pro is billed monthly at the price shown at the time of purchase via Polar.
• You can cancel at any time. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused transforms, except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.
• If payment fails, your account will revert to the Free plan until payment is resolved.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pastely to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
• Circumvent usage limits by creating multiple accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• Use the service in a way that could damage, overload, or impair our infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense access to Pastely.

Content and transforms

You are responsible for the content you copy, for anything visible in the window you paste into when it is captured, and for the instructions you provide. Pastely sends all of it to third-party AI providers to perform the transform. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to process that content and that the output is used appropriately. Do not transform content you are not allowed to share with a third party.

macOS compatibility

Pastely requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later and runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs (a universal build). We do not guarantee compatibility with future macOS versions, though we will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility with supported macOS releases.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, add or remove features, or temporarily suspend the service without notice. We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime.

Disclaimer of warranties

Pastely is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, quality, or suitability of AI-generated transforms for any particular purpose. Use your own judgment before relying on any output.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pastely and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. You may stop using Pastely and delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify active Pro subscribers by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based, without regard to conflict of law principles.
